ESCANABA, MI – Bay College's Nina Bower was named MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week for her role in the Norse win over Gogebic Community College this past week.

Bower (RS-FR, Bark River, MI) helped lead the Norse to a 92-71 victory in Ironwood.  She connected on nine of 17 attempts from the floor and ended with 22 points.  She also grabbed eight rebounds. 

The win gave the Norse a season sweep of their U.P. rivals.  They are on the road at Oakton Community College on December 5 and at McHenry County College on December 6.
